The Alpine Marathon is a unique Alpine challenge for those seeking a true driving experience. Over seven days, the route leads through six countries and across more than 50 of Europe's most beautiful Alpine passes . The race begins in the Carnic Alps in Carinthia, Austria. Depending on your personal plans, the finish line is either in glamorous Monaco or in the northwestern Alps of Germany. Each stage is designed to perfectly blend driving pleasure, natural beauty, and cultural diversity.
You can expect the complete panorama of the Alps: from wooded, rugged foothills in the east and south to high alpine rocky landscapes in fascinating shades of color and on to the deep gorges of the maritime Alps.
The roads range from narrow, single-lane mountain passes and tight, rimless switchbacks to sweeping curves, perfect for leisurely drivers. Selected gravel sections are also available as an option. Add to that regional specialties, breathtaking views, and daily new sensory experiences – an unforgettable adventure.
The challenge transforms the tour into a personal adventure. The roadmap provides your foundation for each stage. After completing each leg, you'll receive a sticker for your vehicle – a visible symbol of your progress. Upon successful completion of the entire challenge, you'll be awarded an official certificate.
