Are you ready for an alpine tour of the absolute highest class? This route covers 260 kilometers and a monumental 4,771 meters of altitude, offering everything a motorcyclist's heart could desire. You will cross the heart of the Swiss Alps, connecting the historic canton of Graubünden with the sun-drenched Valais.
No matter which direction you take this alpine pass marathon: a succession of riding and scenic milestones awaits you. On one side is the historic market town of Thusis, the ultimate strategic hub and gateway to the infamous Viamala Gorge. On the other side awaits the historic town of Brig on the Rhône, an ideal starting point in Valais. In between, you'll race your machine over the majestic Oberalppass, cross the alpine center of Andermatt, conquer the freshly asphalted, curvy Sustenpass, and master the mighty Grimselpass with its spectacular hairpin bends and views.

The legendary Extra Tip – Oberaar Panorama Road: Not far from the Grimselpass summit, the absolute crown jewel of this tour awaits you. Turn onto the approximately 6-kilometer-long Oberaar Panorama Road. The ride over this extremely narrow, traffic-light-controlled single-lane high road leads you directly along a deep gorge and is not for the faint of heart! Once you arrive at the Oberaarbahn parking lot at 2,303 meters, you will be rewarded with one of the most spectacular and untouched glacier panoramas Switzerland has to offer.
Myth of the Devil's Bridge: Near Andermatt, where the Reuss river rages through the vertical walls of the Schöllenen Gorge, you simply must stop. The historic Devil's Bridge and the Russian monument carved directly into the rock offer breathtaking views into the deep spray and pure goosebumps.
The H0 Model Railway Spectacle on the Oberalppass: While driving over the Oberalppass, you will be faithfully accompanied by the Matterhorn-Gotthard Railway. The railway line here winds up to a steep 110 per mille and unbelievably picturesquely along the steep cliffs. Plan some time to observe the fascinating interplay of road and rail – the scenery looks like a gigantic model railway in real life!
